WFUMB 2006 Seoul Abstract Deadline Nov. 30
 

The 11th Congress of the World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB) will be held in Seoul, Korea from May 28 to June 1, 2006

The deadline for scientific sessions abstract submission for WFUMB 2006 Seoul is November 30, 2005. Abstracts should be submitted through the E-abstract Submission system at the congress website http://www.wfumb2006.com


The Organizing Committee is pleased to provide Paper Presenter Award in order to encourage participants to submit quality abstracts. The presenter of the abstracts accepted for presentation at scientific sessions and scientific exhibition will be awarded a discount of US$100 on registration fee. A total of US $50,000 has been earmarked for PaperPresenter Award.
 
The Young Investigator's Award will be given to outstanding professionals below 40 years of age at the time of the congress. Anyonewho wants to be considered a candidate for this award must apply forYoung Investigator's Award in the course of abstract submission.

The Organizing Committee of WFUMB'2006 has invited 160 world-renowned speakers for 10 plenary lectures, 50 refresher courses, and 3 hot focus sessions that highlight the newest research in ultrasound. Furthermore,there will be an image interpretation session, a technical innovation session, and 18 different areas of scientific sessions along with keynote lectures, and scientific exhibitions for all participants. At the state-of-the art technical exhibition, exhibitors will display the latest in ultrasound equipment, supplies, and services. Participants will have ample opportunities for personal contact with the ultrasoundand medical industry.

We particularly want to invite everyone to join us for the opening ceremony and congress lecture on Monday morning, during which Dr. Barry Goldberg will be speaking on the congress main theme, 'Better World with Ultrasound'.
