This is a video clip of a 31 week fetus, delivered by emergency ceaserean section after experiencing distress during peri-umbilical blood sampling for non-immune hydrops fetalis. Upon delivery, no fetal heart was found, the infant was resuscitated and his pneumothoraces were drained. However, the infant eventually died and no etiology was found for the condition.
