This is a video clip demonstrating a fetus that had mild ventriculomegaly or "prominent ventricles" with the atrial measurement at 10.3 mm. The spine was normal and so was the karyotype. By 28 weeks the cerebral lateral ventricles were 8.5 to 9.1 mm, i.e. within the normal range. The baby was normal at delivery and has had no problems since birth.
