Christopher J. Sykes

Christopher is a senior sonographer at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Hospital in Melbourne.
St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Australia,
and specializes in musculoskeletal imaging. In addition to his clinical activity,
Christopher holds a number of academic and industry positions. He is a lecturer
in ultrasound at RMIT University in Melbourne; an examiner for the ASUM Diploma
of Medical Ultrasound, and is a tutor for the Australian Sonographers Association
and Australian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine.
Along with authorship of the CD-ROM, Christopher has published a number of papers
and has presented his work at national and international meetings.

David A. Connell
MBBS, MMED, FRANZCR

David Connell studied his undergraduate medical degree at Monash University before
entering a radiology residency program at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne,
Australia.
After completing the program, David performed advanced training in London where
he held Senior Registrar positions at St. Mary's Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital,
and the Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. He also undertook an additional
musculoskeletal Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
David works in Melbourne at the St. Francis X. Cabrini Hospital and at Victoria
House where he has a diverse private practice specializing in musculoskeletal ultrasound,
MRI, and intervention. Dr. Connell was a radiologist at the Sydney Olympics, is
an examiner for the RANZCR and has written numerous publications on most joints
of the body. He is also president of AMSIG [Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging
Group].
