Case report

This is a case of a 26-year-old woman (G3P2) with unremarkable history. She was scanned at 22 weeks of gestation. The ultrasound examination revealed a right-sided diaphragmatic hernia.

Images 1,2: Transverse view of the chest, the heart is pushed to the left (arrow) by the herniated bowel.

Images 3,4: Sagittal view of the chest and abdomen. Image 3 shows a herniated bowel above the diaphragm.
Image 4 shows a Doppler of the heart and aortic arch.

Videos 1,2: Video 1 shows a transverse view of the chest with heart pushed to the left by herniated bowel.


Video 3:
Sagittal view of the chest and abdomen, bowel and stomach are herniated into the thoracic cavity.
